Bayern Munich’s Joshua Kimmich Open to Arsenal and Liverpool Talks, Snubs Man Utd and Chelsea
Bayern Munich’s star midfielder, Joshua Kimmich, is reportedly open to discussions with potential buyers, with Arsenal and Liverpool in the mix for his signature. The German champions are willing to sell Kimmich if a suitable offer comes in during the summer transfer window. Kimmich, considered one of the best midfielders in the world, is open to talks with five clubs, including English giants Arsenal and Liverpool.
However, Manchester United and Chelsea are not on Kimmich’s radar, as the 29-year-old is also set to reject Paris-Saint Germain. Instead, Arsenal and Liverpool will compete with Real Madrid and Barcelona for his services, while Manchester City is also in the race. Some of these clubs have already made contact with Kimmich regarding a possible move.
Despite interest from Newcastle United in January, Kimmich was not willing to leave Bayern Munich mid-season. With 378 appearances for the German club, Kimmich has contributed 102 assists and 41 goals. Manchester United had targeted him for the summer transfer window, but Old Trafford is not seen as an option for Kimmich as they plan a squad rebuild under Sir Jim Ratcliffe.
It remains to be seen where Joshua Kimmich will end up, but one thing is for sure – he will have no shortage of suitors vying for his talents in the upcoming transfer window.
