Kepa Looking to Win Over Chelsea Fans

Kepa Arrizabalaga is determined to win over Chelsea supporters after deciding to stay at Stamford Bridge. The Spanish goalkeeper was among the players tipped to leave the club this summer as part of a major squad shake-up. Despite the speculation, Kepa is keen to remain at the club and is excited by the prospect of working with Mauricio Pochettino and his staff, particularly Toni Jimenez, Pochettino’s long-time goalkeeper coach.

Edouard Mendy Set for Al Ahli Move

Edouard Mendy is on the verge of signing for Saudi club Al Ahli. The 31-year-old joined the Blues from Rennes in 2020 and became first choice in his first season. However, he spent most of the 2022-23 campaign on the bench. He is set to become the latest Chelsea player to move to Saudi Arabia, following N’Golo Kante’s recent agreement to sign for Al-Ittihad, and Kalidou Koulibaly and Hakim Ziyech who are expected to join Saudi sides.

Nicolas Jackson Completes Medical Ahead of Move

Chelsea are poised to wrap up their first piece of incoming business with Nicolas Jackson completing his medical ahead of his move from Villarreal. The Blues have agreed to pay the 22-year-old forward’s release clause which stands at €35million (£30m) and have already agreed personal terms. Jackson will arrive at Stamford Bridge alongside Christopher Nkunku and Malo Gusto from RB Leipzig and Lyon respectively in deals that were agreed at the start of the year.

Chelsea Set to Sign Youngsters

Chelsea have also agreed a deal to sign Ecuadorian teenager Kendry Paez who will arrive at Stamford Bridge in May 2025 when he turns 18. Jamaican youngster Dujuan Richards will join the club when he turns 18 in October.

Conclusion

Kepa Arrizabalaga is determined to stay at Chelsea and win over supporters with the help of Mauricio Pochettino and his staff. Edouard Mendy is set to join Saudi club Al Ahli, while Nicolas Jackson has completed his medical ahead of his move from Villarreal. The Blues have also agreed deals to sign young players Kendry Paez and Dujuan Richards. With a number of changes taking place, it will be interesting to see how Chelsea perform next season.
