# Wolves Lose 3-2 to Crystal Palace Despite Positive Performance
Wolves head coach Gary O’Neil was left disappointed after his side lost 3-2 to Crystal Palace despite a positive performance. O’Neil believes there is still work to be done if Wolves are to achieve success this season.
## Edouard Double Gives Palace Victory
Crystal Palace secured a 3-2 victory against Wolves thanks to a double from French striker Odsonne Edouard. The first goal came in the 19th minute when Edouard fired a low shot into the bottom corner. The second goal came in the second half when Edouard was able to get on the end of a cross and head the ball into the back of the net.
## Wolves Fight Back
Despite going two goals down, Wolves fought back and were able to get a goal back through Raul Jimenez in the 75th minute. The Mexican striker was able to get on the end of a cross and head the ball into the back of the net. Wolves then equalised in the 85th minute when Adama Traore was able to get on the end of a cross and fire a shot into the bottom corner.
Unfortunately for Wolves, they were unable to hold on for a draw as Palace scored the winner in the 90th minute. Wilfried Zaha was able to get on the end of a cross and fire a shot into the top corner to give Palace the win.
## O’Neil Disappointed With Result
Despite the positive performance from Wolves, O’Neil was left disappointed with the result. He believes there is still work to be done if Wolves are to achieve success this season. He said: “We didn’t deserve to lose today, but we have to take it on the chin and move on. We have to learn from our mistakes and make sure we don’t make them again.”
