Manager David Moyes was delighted with West Ham United’s “fantastic” week, after the Hammers followed up reaching the Europa Conference League final by beating Leeds United 3-1 in the Premier League. The victory was secured thanks to goals from Michail Antonio, Jesse Lingard and Jarrod Bowen, with Raphinha scoring a consolation for Leeds.
Moyes was pleased with his side’s performance, saying: “It’s been a fantastic week for us. To get to a European final and then to win a Premier League game against a very good Leeds side is very pleasing. We had to work hard for it and I thought we defended really well.”
