The 26-year-old delivered a short video message to Fenerbahce supporters, congratulating the club on winning the Turkish Cup and expressing his excitement to start pre-season and meet his new teammates and fans. Kent left Rangers at the end of last season after a five-year spell, during which he played an integral role in the team’s first league title win in a decade. He had been linked with top English clubs including Leeds and Burnley, but ultimately chose Turkey as his next destination. Fenerbahce finished second in the Turkish Super Lig last season and will be entering the UEFA Europa Conference League.
