Real Madrid star Eduardo Camavinga has said he would be ‘very happy’ to see France team-mate Kylian Mbappe join the club this summer. Mbappe rocked Paris Saint-Germain on Monday when he confirmed he would not sign an extension to his deal, which is set to expire in 2024. With one year left on his deal, PSG are now minded to sell Mbappe and Real Madrid are the favourites to sign him. Mbappe insists he’s happy to stay in the French capital, which raises the chance that he could leave for free in 2024. But Madrid are expected to bid for him and Camavinga, who had his own big money move to the club two years ago, says he would be pleased to see his France team-mate move to the Bernabeu.
“You’ll have seen that’s spoken. I have nothing to say. I would be very happy if he were to come to Real Madrid,” said Camavinga. Manchester United and Chelsea have also been linked with a move for Mbappe, however, his preference would be to join Real Madrid. PSG have already lost Lionel Messi this summer, while Neymar had also been expected to depart.
