Newcastle United fans are expressing their disappointment over the steep price of the club’s Christmas jumper, which is priced at £45. Despite being owned by the Saudi sovereign wealth fund, the Magpies’ festive winter woolie is more expensive than any other Premier League club’s jumper.

Expensive Christmas Jumpers in the Premier League

Arsenal is selling their Christmas jumper, featuring yellow stripes on a blue background and red and white dots, for £40. Manchester United has designed a Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer jumper, priced at £36. They are also offering a jumper in the original club colors of green and yellow. Defending champions Manchester City have set their price tag at £30, while Chelsea and Liverpool, among other clubs, are selling their jumpers for £35.

Cheapest Christmas Jumper in the Premier League

The most affordable Christmas sweater in the Premier League can be found at Luton Town, where their Santa-inspired design retails for just £22. Burnley is the only club not selling a festive jumper.

Compared to last year, clubs have increased the prices of their Christmas jumpers by up to 15%. However, Newcastle United has recently reduced the cost of their festive jumper on their online shop to £13.
