Mary Earps, the goalkeeper for Manchester United, is rumored to be joining Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) as a free agent. According to French newspaper Le Parisien, Earps is expected to become the highest-paid goalkeeper in women’s football after the move. Her current contract with Manchester United is set to expire this summer, and PSG, the team that knocked United out of the Women’s Champions League last October, seems to be her next destination.
Manchester United had hoped to retain Earps, who played a crucial role in the team’s success. She helped them win the Women’s FA Cup for the first time in their history in May and was named FIFA’s Best Women’s Goalkeeper for 2023.
