Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Croatian goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic for €10million (£8.8m). The 28-year-old was a standout performer for his country during the 2022 World Cup, helping them reach the semi-finals after his penalty shoot-out heroics against Japan and Brazil. Livakovic currently plays for Dinamo Zagreb and will enter the final year of his contract this summer. While United are in talks to offer their current goalkeeper, David de Gea, a new deal on reduced terms, they are also keen on bringing in Livakovic as a long-term successor. However, they face competition from La Liga sides Villarreal and Real Sociedad, as well as Turkish giants Galatasaray. Nottingham Forest and Leicester have also been linked with Livakovic’s signature.
