Jurgen Klopp Makes Six Changes for Liverpool’s Final League Match Before International Break
It has been quite the week for Liverpool Football Club, but now their attention turns back to the Premier League and their final match before the international break. Jurgen Klopp has made a total of six changes from midweek, with Cody Gakpo and Curtis Jones both out due to injury and Diogo Jota suspended from the events that transpired at Tottenham.
Alisson is fit and available and on the hunt for his second successive clean sheet, and he is joined by Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joel Matip, Virgil van Dijk, and Andy Robertson in the back four.
With Jones unavailable, Klopp has opted for a midfield trio of Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai, and Harvey Elliott – in what is his first league start this season. Mohamed Salah is joined up top by Luis Diaz and Darwin Nunez.
The bench looks a little different due to injuries and suspensions, but Ryan Gravenberch and Wataru Endo can be turned to after missing out on the XI. As for the hosts, ex-Red Adam Lallana starts from the bench while James Milner is absent entirely due to injury.
