Liverpool urged to sign Brighton’s Moises Caicedo over Arsenal, Chelsea, and Man United

Date:

Liverpool legend John Barnes has suggested that his former club should sign Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo, who has also been linked with Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United. The 21-year-old has impressed as a defensive midfielder for the Seagulls this season, helping them to eighth place in the Premier League. Although Caicedo signed a new contract with Brighton in January, rumours of a move persist. Barnes believes that Caicedo would be an excellent addition to Liverpool’s midfield, which has struggled this season, and would allow Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson to push forward. Barnes also identified Fulham’s Joao Palhinha as another potential midfield signing for Liverpool.
