Liverpool Star Dominik Szoboszlai Absent from Squad for Arsenal Clash

Liverpool will be without midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai for their upcoming Premier League match against Arsenal on Sunday. The 23-year-old had recently returned from a hamstring injury and trained with the team on Friday. However, he was not seen with the squad that traveled to London on Saturday.

In contrast, both Darwin Nunez and Thiago Alcantara, who have been dealing with their own injury issues, made the trip to London. Nunez had suffered a foot injury in the victory over Chelsea earlier in the week and was seen leaving Anfield wearing a protective boot. However, he still participated in Friday’s training session.

Thiago Alcantara, who has yet to make an appearance for Liverpool this season due to a hip injury, is also nearing his return. The 32-year-old midfielder joined the team in Friday’s training session, indicating that he may be ready to make his first appearance of the season soon.

Liverpool’s star forward Mohamed Salah, who is recovering from a hamstring injury sustained at the Africa Cup of Nations, has been making progress in his rehabilitation. He recently posted a picture of himself running at the training ground, showing positive signs. However, he has not yet resumed full training with the team.

The absence of Szoboszlai from Liverpool’s squad could be a blow for the team as they face Arsenal in a crucial match at the Emirates Stadium. With Nunez and Thiago potentially available, Liverpool still has options in midfield. However, Szoboszlai’s absence may require some adjustments in their game plan.

Liverpool fans will be hoping for a swift recovery for Szoboszlai and the return of Salah to full fitness. These key players will be vital as Liverpool continues their push for success in the Premier League.
