The Reds then ran away with it after that, starting with Salah getting his brace, followed by another Jota goal and Darwin Nunez joining the party to make it 6-1, thanks to the work of Trent Alexander-Arnold. Alexander-Arnold had a good night as he played in a more central position when Liverpool were in possession. To cap off the night, Luis Diaz returned after six months out injured. The victory was exactly what Liverpool needed and wanted, and now they look forward to the next one.
