Liverpool’s Fixtures for August & September Confirmed

Liverpool’s fixtures for the first two months of the season have finally been confirmed after TV selections. The Reds will kick off their campaign with an away game against Chelsea on Sunday, August 13th at 4.30pm BST, and will then face Bournemouth at home on Saturday, August 19th at 3pm.

The newly expanded Anfield Road Stand will be in full swing for the first home game of the season, with a capacity of 61,000. Unfortunately, this game won’t be shown live in the UK. Following that, Liverpool will travel to Newcastle on Sunday, August 27th with kick-off at 4.30pm live on Sky Sports.

September will begin with Aston Villa’s visit to Anfield on Sunday, September 3rd with a 2pm start. This will be followed by a trip to Wolves on Saturday, September 16th at 12.30pm on TNT Sports (formerly BT Sport). This game at Wolves is before the first group stage game in the Europa League (Thursday, September 21st).

The Reds will then host West Ham on Sunday, September 24th at 2pm before a trip to Tottenham on Saturday, September 30th at 5.30pm on Sky Sports. The Carabao Cup Third Round will take place on 26/27 September.
