After three years of hosting the talkSPORT Sports Breakfast, Laura Woods is leaving the show. Although she will still be part of the talkSPORT family, her departure will be missed by listeners who have enjoyed her iconic moments during her time as host. Woodsy has been a trailblazer for aspiring female sports broadcasters and journalists worldwide, and has brought listeners hours worth of laughter. Some of her best moments include her response to former Sky Sports presenter Richard Keys and co’s criticism of Arsenal’s celebrations after their win over Fulham, her banter with Tottenham supporter Dan, her regular banter with resident Tottenham supporter Jamie O’Hara, and her coverage of the sex noise heard on the BBC’s coverage of Liverpool vs Wolves in the FA Cup. Despite being tricked by co-host Ally McCoist and the Breakfast team into thinking her celebrity crush was about to join the show live, Woodsy still managed to get the last laugh.
