Kyle Walker Advises Jack Grealish on Standing Out

Manchester City teammate Kyle Walker has praised Jack Grealish for his excellent form, but believes that if the 27-year-old can add more goals to his game then he will take his game to a whole new level. Grealish has been a regular in the team as City bid for the treble, but while he has contributed a lot he hasn’t scored goals on a regular basis. The England international has not scored in 12 Champions League appearances this campaign, while he has managed five Premier League goals in 28 appearances. Walker knows the immense ability Grealish has and thinks that a few more goals would make him truly world class. ‘I tell him when he does well and I tell him when he does bad,’ Walker said on BT Sport. ‘I play against him directly in training and he’s a nightmare to play against. At this point in the season he can’t really do much better because he’s doing what he needs to do for the team. When I first come here, Raz [Raheem Sterling] was all about the tricks, then all of a sudden, goals, goals, goals. I think, if he can add that to his game where he gets a few more goals and chips in. I told him to aim for 10 a season, that’s more than enough. Then with the contribution you do in other areas of the pitch, that sets you above the rest.’
