Manchester United has received a revised bid from INEOS and Sir Jim Ratcliffe, as the deadline for interested parties to submit offers passed on Wednesday. The Glazer family, which owns the club, is said to be seeking around £6bn ($7.8bn) for the team, while INEOS and Ratcliffe are understood to have submitted a bid worth around £5bn. The Glazers are reportedly more interested in selling minority shares of the club rather than a full takeover. Other groups interested in purchasing smaller percentages of the team also submitted offers by the deadline.
