Former Manchester United Star Anderson Unrecognizable After Retirement
Former Manchester United player Anderson, who won the prestigious Golden Boy award in 2008, has undergone a dramatic transformation since hanging up his boots. The Brazilian midfielder, known for his long dreadlocks during his playing days, now sports a completely shaved head.
A Stellar Career at Old Trafford
Anderson enjoyed a successful career at Manchester United, spending eight years at the club under the guidance of legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson. He joined the Red Devils from Porto in 2007 for a fee of £25 million and went on to win four Premier League titles between 2007 and 2013. In addition, he played a crucial role in Manchester United’s Champions League triumph in 2008, scoring in the penalty shootout against Chelsea in Moscow.
During his time at Old Trafford, Anderson made 105 appearances in the Premier League and a total of 181 appearances across all competitions, scoring nine goals.
Post-Retirement Career
After leaving Manchester United, Anderson returned to his native Brazil and joined Internacional in 2015. He spent three seasons with the club before making a move back to Europe, signing with Turkish side Adana Demirspor. However, he ultimately decided to retire from professional football.
Despite his change in appearance, Anderson’s contributions to Manchester United’s success will always be remembered by fans and football enthusiasts alike.
