Gary Neville has heavily criticised Tottenham defenders Cristian Romero and Eric Dier, labelling them ‘shambolic’ following their 4-3 defeat to Liverpool on Sunday. Neville said on Sky Sports that the pair ‘need the season to end’ and that they have been ‘all over the place’. The result leaves Tottenham nine points off the top four with just five games left to play, meaning their hopes of Champions League football next season are all but gone.
