
Former footballer Reece Wabara has become a successful fashion entrepreneur, with his company Maniere De Voir now worth £100m and Wabara himself worth £88m. The former Manchester City right-back invested £15,000 in the fashion label after leaving football in 2014, and profits have doubled to £6.6m in the past year. Wabara, who designed much of the women’s clothing range, said the inclusion of female apparel had boosted sales. The 31-year-old has advised entrepreneurs to grow slowly, target sustained profit over short-lived accelerated revenue and always focus on customers rather than competitors.
