Frank Lampard has praised Jorginho ahead of Chelsea’s clash with Arsenal, hailing the Italy international as a “good personality in the dressing room” despite selling him to the Gunners in January. Lampard worked with Jorginho during his first stint as Chelsea manager and believes the club lost a key voice in the squad. Jorginho had previously claimed that Lampard ‘skipped a few steps’ in management when he initially became Chelsea boss in 2019. Lampard, however, believes that Jorginho is a “very, very good player” and that he will be a “good player” for Arsenal if he plays against his former side. The Blues will be hoping to come away with a victory against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday evening.
