Marcus Rashford is a doubt for Manchester United’s weekend clash with Bournemouth due to illness. The England international missed last Saturday’s win over Wolves through injury but was back in training this week ahead of the trip to the Vitaly Stadium. However, the 25-year-old could miss out with a final decision to be taken on Saturday morning. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have been handed a major boost with the return of Raphael Varane, who played 81 minutes in the 2-0 win over Wolves, replaced by Harry Maguire. Scott McTominay has also been a recent absentee with the midfielder in contention to return on Saturday.
Victory over the Cherries will leave United in control of their own destiny ahead of their final league games of the season at home to Chelsea and Fulham. United remain without Lisandro Martinez after his season was brought to an early end following a metatarsal injury in April, while Donny van de Beek and Marcel Sabitzer will also miss the final four games through injury.
