Erik ten Hag Praises Rasmus Hojlund’s Integration at Manchester United

Manchester United v Newcastle United - Carabao Cup Fourth Round

Erik ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United, has commended the integration of Rasmus Hojlund into the team. Despite not scoring any goals yet, Hojlund’s character has impressed Ten Hag.

Impressive Performance in Champions League

Hojlund, who joined Manchester United from Atalanta during the summer, has quickly become the first-choice striker in the team’s front three. He has performed well in the Champions League, scoring three goals in three games so far.

Struggle for Goals in Premier League

However, Hojlund has yet to find the back of the net in the Premier League. In his eight appearances, he has been unable to score a goal, along with other forwards like Marcus Rashford and Antony.

Ten Hag’s Relaxed Approach

Ten Hag remains relaxed about Hojlund’s goal drought and believes he is impressing people at the club. He acknowledges that there is room for improvement in terms of possession and creating better chances for the offensive players.

“Social-wise, he integrates very well in the team and the club. From here on, he has to take it on and improve. That’s the character from Rasmus, he wants to improve every day. It’s lovely to work with him, such characters,” said Ten Hag.

Hojlund’s Determination to Score

Ten Hag also mentioned that Hojlund understands the situation and is eager to score goals. The young player is working hard in training to improve his performance.

Support from Christian Eriksen

Christian Eriksen, Hojlund’s compatriot, praised the striker’s personality and believes he will only get better as he plays more games and gets to know his teammates.

“First and foremost, he’s a very nice guy, he works very hard, he wants to improve and he does his things and he does his job very well. He’s integrating into the team very well,” said Eriksen.
