Dortmund’s Donyell Malen Set to Be Sold at Discounted Price

Borussia Dortmund is reportedly looking to cash in on forward Donyell Malen this summer, with Manchester United and Liverpool showing interest in the player. The 25-year-old has been in fine form this season, scoring 10 goals in the Bundesliga and making an impact in the Champions League.

Despite Malen’s consistent performances for Dortmund, the club may need to sell him to secure funds for future transfers. With key players like Marco Reus and Mats Hummels also facing uncertain futures, Dortmund is looking to offload Malen at a bargain price of just €40 million.

Manchester United has long been linked with Malen, with reports suggesting that the club’s manager, Erik ten Hag, is a big fan of the Dutch forward. Liverpool is also said to be interested in bolstering their attacking options with Malen.

While Dortmund has a history of selling top players for huge fees, they are now facing a different situation where they need to be more strategic in their transfer dealings. With Malen potentially on the move to the Premier League, it remains to be seen where he will end up next season.
