Chelsea's Felix Criticizes 'Know-It-Alls' Amid Transfer Rumors

Amidst speculation surrounding his future ahead of the summer transfer window, Chelsea loanee Joao Felix has hit back at rumours about where he will end up next. The Portuguese forward, who arrived at Stamford Bridge from Atletico Madrid in January, has only managed to contribute three goals in 18 appearances, leading to doubts about whether Chelsea will try to sign him on a permanent deal. This has left the door open for other clubs to try and snatch the ex-Benfica man away from Atletico, with Newcastle being linked with a move for the Portugal international as they prepare for Champions League football next season. However, Felix has responded to an article by Eleven Sports, which mocked him up in a Toon shirt, by calling them “a bunch of know-it-alls!” Despite joining Atletico for a huge £111million in 2019, the club is not expected to keep Felix in the summer, and his destination for the 2023/24 campaign remains up in the air. While Man Utd have been linked with a move for him, Tottenham’s Harry Kane and Napoli’s Victor Osimhen appear to be higher up on the Red Devils’ list of targets. Benfica forward Goncalo Ramos is also thought to be a preferred option to Felix.
