Chelsea in talks for Neymar, dealing transfer blow to Man United, Arsenal, and Newcastle.

Date:

Reports suggest that Chelsea has initiated talks with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) for a potential transfer of Neymar, which could be a blow to Manchester United, Arsenal, and Newcastle. The Brazilian footballer has been linked with a move away from PSG, where he has scored 118 goals in 173 appearances and helped the club win five Ligue 1 titles. PSG is reportedly keen on a shake-up that would see less focus on superstar players, with Lionel Messi and Sergio Ramos also set to depart. Saudi-backed Newcastle is among the clubs rumored to be interested in Neymar, who is said to be keen to sign a superstar player. PSG is open to selling Neymar as they want to sign Bernardo Silva from Manchester City. Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly has been interested in bringing Neymar to Stamford Bridge for several months and informally met with PSG president Nasser al Khelaifi in February.
