Carlos Tevez discharged from hospital after fainting and hitting his head
Former Manchester United, Manchester City and West Ham star Carlos Tevez has been left with a 10-stitch wound after fainting and hitting his head, according to reports in Argentina.
The 39-year-old recently entered the world of management after his stellar playing career and is currently in charge of Argentine side Club Atletico Independiente.
It has been reported that Tevez fell in the bathroom of his house – but has since been discharged from hospital – and reunited with his Independiente squad before their Primera Division clash against Club Atletico Barracas Central.
Tevez’s Playing Career
Tevez finished his playing career at his boyhood club Boca Juniors in 2021 and is currently in his second managerial role after a previous spell at Rosario Central.
He spent seven years playing in the Premier League between 2006 and 2013, arriving at West Ham before two loans at United and a permanent switch to City.
Tevez won two Premier League titles as well as the Champions League during his time at Old Trafford.
After he controversially moved across Manchester to join City, he registered another top-flight trophy and helped them lift the FA Cup.
Tevez enjoyed further success after leaving English football in 2013 – moving to Juventus – as they won Serie A twice and also landed a Coppa Italia trophy.
He scored 13 goals across 76 caps for Argentina between 2004 and 2015.
Tevez’s Management Career
Tevez entered management in 2021, taking charge of Rosario Central. He left the club in 2022 after a successful season. He then took the reins at Club Atletico Independiente, where he has been since.
He has already made an impact at the club, leading them to the top of the Primera Division table. Tevez will be hoping to continue this form as he looks to lead Independiente to their first title since 2014.
Conclusion
Carlos Tevez is one of the most successful players in recent history, having won numerous trophies during his time in England and Italy. He is now looking to make an impact in management, having taken charge of two clubs already. Despite the recent incident, Tevez is back with his Independiente squad and looking to continue their impressive form this season.
