Brentford boss Thomas Frank has revealed that the club are willing to accept offers of around £40million for Manchester United and Chelsea target David Raya this summer. The Spaniard has 13 months remaining on his contract in north-west London and the Bees are resigned to selling the former Blackburn goalkeeper after he rejected two offers of an extension. Raya has impressed since his £3m move to Brentford and he’s played more passes than any other goalkeeper this term, including Ederson and Alisson Becker, leading to speculation of a move to Stamford Bridge or Old Trafford. Frank says that Raya is the only Brentford player up for sale and that any potential suitors would need to make a ‘crazy high’ offer to secure his services. Mauricio Pochettino is likely to seek a new goalkeeper at Chelsea, with neither Kepa nor Edouard Mendy proving reliable, while David De Gea is out of contract at the end of the season and is yet to sign fresh terms with Manchester United, though Erik ten Hag says an extension is likely.
