Avril Mathie, a model-turned-boxer, has revealed the gruesome injury she sustained after being hit by a motorbike. She shared pictures of the injury on Instagram, which showed some of her shin bone sticking out of her leg. Despite the severity of the injury, Avril was able to recover in less than two weeks. She took the ordeal as a positive, saying that the fact her leg did not fully break made her feel strong. Avril also shared details of her recovery process, including showering without getting the wound wet and going out dancing until getting the stitches out. She was back in training with hill sprints in Mykonos, Greece, once the recovery process was complete. Avril has almost 300k followers on Instagram, and many of them were shocked by the injury she sustained. However, they praised her for bouncing back and being a strong woman.
