# Arsenal Come From Two Goals Down To Draw 2-2 At Stamford Bridge
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta praised his team for their “personality and determination” as they came back from two goals down to draw 2-2 at Stamford Bridge in a thrilling Premier League match.
The Gunners were two goals down after goals from Timo Werner and Mason Mount had put Chelsea in a commanding position. However, Arsenal fought back with two goals of their own from Alexandre Lacazette and Hector Bellerin to secure a point.
Speaking after the match, Arteta said: “I’m really proud of the team. We showed great personality and determination to come back from two goals down. We had to dig deep and the players showed great character to get something from the game.”
The result leaves Arsenal in 12th place in the Premier League table, while Chelsea remain in fourth place.
The match was a tense affair, with both teams having chances to take the lead. Chelsea had the better of the early exchanges, with Werner and Mount both finding the net in the first half.
However, Arsenal fought back and Lacazette scored with a superb strike from outside the box to pull one back for the Gunners. Bellerin then equalised late on with a powerful header to secure a point for Arsenal.
The result means that Arsenal have now gone four games unbeaten in the Premier League, while Chelsea have won just one of their last five matches.
The draw also means that Arsenal are now just three points behind Chelsea in the table, and Arteta will be hoping that his side can continue their good form and push for a top-six finish this season.
