Fulham midfielder Andreas Pereira and defender Tim Ream will both have surgery on their respective injuries. Pereira suffered a broken ankle after an accidental clash with City defender Manuel Akanji, while Ream, 35, broke his right arm in the same game. According to a Fulham statement, Ream is expected to be fit for when the squad returns for pre-season. Meanwhile, Brazilian Pereira is expected back “later in the year” following his surgery and rehabilitation. This season, Pereira has scored five times in 38 appearances in all competitions, while Ream has made 35 outings, scoring one goal.
