Hakim Ziyech’s Loan Spell at Galatasaray Could End Early
Chelsea’s Hakim Ziyech may see his loan move to Galatasaray cut short after a disappointing start in Turkey. The 30-year-old winger was loaned out in the summer after falling out of favor at Stamford Bridge.
Since arriving in Istanbul, Ziyech has struggled with injuries and a lack of form, resulting in limited game time. He has only featured in nine league matches this season, starting in just six of them.
Turkish outlet NTV Spor has reported that Galatasaray may terminate Ziyech’s loan deal in January due to his ineffective performances. Despite having a contract until the end of the season, his future at the club is uncertain.

Ziyech has contributed four goals and two assists for Galatasaray, but it may not be enough to secure his place in the squad. Returning to Chelsea is unlikely to be a viable option, as the club has been trying to offload him multiple times.
Furthermore, Chelsea already has a large squad and plans to offload several academy graduates in January to balance their books.
For now, Ziyech will shift his focus to the national team as he has been called up to represent Morocco in the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations.
