Reports suggest that Zinedine Zidane is interested in taking on the manager role at Juventus. The former Real Madrid manager has been without a club since leaving the Spanish giants in 2021. Zidane has been linked with several top European clubs, including PSG and the French national side. However, according to RMC, the Frenchman is looking for a long-term project and has set his sights on Juventus. Although he has not ruled out a return to Real Madrid, where he spent five years during his playing days, winning two Serie A titles with the Italian outfit. Massimiliano Allegri is currently the manager of Juventus, but is under pressure following a difficult season in charge. The club is currently third in the league table and has had 15 points reinstated. However, after losing to Napoli on Sunday, they find themselves 19 points behind the table toppers and two points behind second-placed Lazio. Allegri’s contract at the Turin-based club does not expire until 2025, meaning the club would have to pay upwards of £18million to clear out the staff if they want to replace him.
