Zinedine Zidane’s Future Plans Revealed
Zinedine Zidane, the former Real Madrid manager, has reportedly turned down an offer from Manchester United, as revealed by his ex-teammate Thomas Gravesen. Zidane, who has been out of management since leaving Real Madrid in 2021, is said to be holding out for a return to Madrid, or positions at Marseille and the French national team as Didier Deschamps’ successor.
Gravesen disclosed that Zidane had confided in him about his future plans during a conversation in Madrid two years ago. The 51-year-old coach mentioned that there are only three roles he would consider – Marseille, Real Madrid, and the French national team. When asked about managing United, Gravesen emphasized the differences in team dynamics between United and the successful squad Zidane had at Madrid.
It seems that Zidane is focused on specific opportunities that align with his vision for his coaching career. With his sights set on only three potential roles, it appears that Zidane is waiting for the right opportunity to arise before making his return to management. Fans will have to wait and see if Zidane’s desired positions become available in the near future.
