Manchester City’s Brazilian right-back, Yan Couto, has completed his move to Borussia Dortmund. The 22-year-old player joined City in 2020 but did not make a single appearance for the Premier League champions. It is worth noting that after signing with Manchester City, Couto was loaned to Girona, another club within the City Football Group. He spent a year there before extending his loan for two more seasons. Following his time with Girona, he spent a year with Portuguese side Braga. During his loan spells, Couto performed well and helped Girona qualify for this season’s Champions League.

This transfer to Borussia Dortmund represents a significant step in Couto’s career. Dortmund is known for developing young talents and giving them the opportunity to shine. The club has a strong track record of nurturing players and providing them with a platform to showcase their skills.
