World Cup LIVE: England back in action against USA, Gareth Southgate to name unchanged Three Lions team, Wales face Iran in huge clash, reaction after Brazil and Portugal win

    England and Wales return to action on Day 6 of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

    The first round of fixtures are complete, with England beating Iran 6-2 and Wales grabbing a 1-1 draw with USA.

    The Three Lions take on USA at 7pm on Friday, but first, it’s the Red Dragon against Iran at 10am – both live on talkSPORT.

    On Thursday, pre-tournament favourites Brazil made no mistake in their opening match, getting the better of Serbia as Richarlison scored a spectacular overhead kick.

    There were fears about the fitness of Neymar, who went off injured late in the match but Selecao boss Tite insists his star man will continue to play in the tournament.

    Ronaldo scored in his fifth successive World Cup as Portugal edged past Ghana in a breathless clash. Elsewhere, South Korea drew to Uruguay, while Switzerland got the better of Cameroon.
