World Cup LIVE: Cristiano Ronaldo starts for Portugal, Uruguay draw with South Korea, Harry Kane injury boost for England, Neymar plays tonight

It’s Day 5 of the 2022 World Cup and we have already had a number of shocks in the opening matches.

After Lionel Messi and Argentina suffered a stunning defeat to Saudi Arabia, we had more drama as Japan came from behind to beat 2014 champions Germany on Wednesday.

Elsewhere, Spain hit SEVEN past Costa Rica, while Belgium edged to a 1-0 win over Canada in a match that saw Alphonso Davies have a penalty saved by Thibaut Courtois.

In the England camp ,there’s good news for Harry Kane with the captain passed fit to face the USA on Friday despite picking up an ankle injury during the win over Iran.
