World Cup 2022 – Netherlands 1 Ecuador 1 LIVE RESULT: Hosts Qatar KNOCKED OUT after Group A draw

    NETHERLANDS’ 1-1 with Ecuador in Group A means that hosts Qatar have now been eliminated from the World Cup.

    Enner Valencia equalised after a fine move for the South Americans, though he later went off on a stretcher following a reoccurrence of his knee injury.

    Valencia – the tournament’s top scorer – was later seen on the bench with a bag of ice on his knee.
