Villa started the second half brightly and were rewarded for their efforts when Grealish was brought down in the box by Wolves defender Willy Boly. Grealish stepped up to take the penalty and calmly slotted it past Patricio to level the scores.
Villa had a few more chances to win the game, but were unable to find a way past Patricio. Wolves also had a few chances of their own, but were unable to find a way past Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez.
## Emery Praises His Side’s Performance
After the game, Emery praised his side’s performance and believes the point was a good one for his side. He said: “I’m pleased with the point. We didn’t create any golden chances, but we defended well and kept our shape. We can take a lot of positives from this game.”
The draw means Villa remain in 14th place in the Premier League table, while Wolves remain in 7th place.
