“William Saliba out for Arsenal’s crucial match against Man City”

Date:

Arsenal’s hopes of securing a win against Manchester City in the Premier League clash on April 26 have been dealt a major blow as defender William Saliba will reportedly miss the game. The Gunners currently hold a four-point lead over City, who closed the gap with their win over Leicester City last weekend. However, Arsenal missed the chance to increase their lead when they drew against West Ham after throwing away a 2-0 lead. Despite having a game in hand, City will not play a Premier League game until the clash against Arsenal. Saliba, who picked up an injury during the Europa League clash against Sporting Lisbon, is not expected to recover in time for the game. Mohamed Elneny and Takehiro Tomiyasu have also been ruled out for the remainder of the season due to their injuries, while Oleksandr Zinchenko is expected to return in time to face Southampton at the Emirates Stadium on Friday evening.
