According to talkSPORT, Wilfried Zaha may be considering his options should he decide not to renew his contract with Crystal Palace. The 30-year-old has rejected multiple offers to extend his stay at Selhurst Park and will become a free agent in the summer. Zaha has contributed six goals and three assists in 20 games this season, and it is believed that he could potentially link up with Cristiano Ronaldo at Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia. However, talkSPORT’s chief football correspondent Alex Crook has revealed that the Ivory Coast international could remain in the capital, but not with Palace.
Crook stated that Zaha’s contract is up at the end of the season, and there is no imminent sign that he is willing to extend. He added that if Zaha is to go and achieve his ambitions of playing for a top club, it’s now or never. Crook believes that Mikel Arteta is a fan of Zaha, and Chelsea have certainly taken a look at him in the past. He also thinks that there are big clubs in Europe who would be interested in a player of Wilf Zaha’s quality.
Zaha’s former Palace teammate Darren Ambrose believes that Zaha is good enough for any team in the top-flight. He stated that he thinks Zaha gets into any squad in the Premier League, and he could play for a top four side in the Premier League. Ambrose added that he would love to see how far Zaha can get in the game, and he thinks he still has plenty of years left in him.
It remains to be seen where Zaha will end up, but it is clear that he will have no shortage of suitors if he decides to leave Palace.
