Nottingham Forest host Manchester United at the City Ground today in a vital game for the relegation and top four battles.

Forest are looking to arrest a horrid run of form which has seen them go winless in their last nine fixtures to leave them in the relegation zone on goal difference.

United, meanwhile, will have the chance to strengthen their grip on a Champions League place following defeats to top four rivals Newcastle and Tottenham on Saturday.

Erik ten Hag’s men are three points ahead of fifth place Spurs but this afternoon’s game is one of two games in hand they currently possess.

Here is everything you need to know ahead of kick-off.

What time does Nottingham Forest vs Manchester United kick-off?

The game will kick-off today (Sunday, April 16) at 4.30pm.

Team news

Nottingham Forest head into the match with 11 players in the treatment room, including Cheikhou Kouyate, Gustavo Scarpa, Moussa Niakhate, Ryan Yates and Serge Aurier.

Willy Boly, Dean Henderson, Giulian Biancone, Renan Lodi, Chris Wood and Omar Richards are also missing for Steve Cooper’s side.

United will be without Lisandro Martinez, who is set to miss the rest of the season after fracturing a metatarsal in his foot during Thursday’s Europa League draw with Sevilla.

Martinez’s centre back partner Raphael Varane was also withdrawn from the clash with the Spaniards and is expected to be out for a number of weeks.

Marcus Rashford remains sidelined with a groin complaint, whilst Scott McTominay and Luke Shaw could return to the fold.
