Wayne Rooney spotted dancing at David Beckham’s party after metatarsal injury before 2006 World Cup

Date:

In 2006, Wayne Rooney suffered a metatarsal injury while playing for Manchester United against Chelsea, putting his World Cup participation in doubt. However, he made a miraculous recovery and was able to briefly feature for England in Germany. Despite the injury, Rooney was seen dancing at David Beckham’s party soon after the foot break. John, the tour manager of KSI and Calfreezy, claims to have witnessed Rooney busting out his best dance moves at the swanky do hosted by Beckham, shocking onlookers who were present. Rooney was declared fit for the 2006 World Cup just two days before Sven Goran Eriksson’s squad announcement. He came off the bench in the second game against Trinidad and Tobago, started in the final clash against Sweden, and lined up for the last-16 win against Ecuador. However, his tournament, and England’s, famously came to an end in the quarters against Portugal when he was sent off for stamping on Chelsea’s Ricardo Carvalho, and England eventually crashed out on penalties.
