The biggest prize in club football is up for grabs this weekend as Manchester City and Inter Milan clash in the Champions League final on Saturday evening in Istanbul. Pep Guardiola’s men are the overwhelming favourites to finally get their hands on the iconic trophy after a number of agonising misses in recent years. Victory in the Turkish capital will also see City become just the second team to win the treble in English football following on from their Premier League and FA Cup triumphs. But City will be weary of an Inter Milan side who have only conceded one goal in the knockout stages of this season’s competition and are eyeing their fourth European crown in their history. The match will be staged at the 75,000 capacity Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul and will kick off at 8pm BST.
BT Sport have announced that the Champions League final 2023 will be shown for free on YouTube in the UK. The game will be streamed live on the BT Sport YouTube channel and will also be available to watch free of charge on the BT Sport website, app and on Virgin. As well as smartphones, the app is available on PlayStation, Xbox, Samsung smart TVs, Apple TV, Android TV, and Amazon Fire. This will be the last Champions League final to be shown on BT Sport before it rebrands as TNT Sports in the summer. Viewers with a BT Sport subscription will still be able to watch the Champions League final live on TV. The showpiece will be shown on BT Sport 1 and BT Sport Ultimate with coverage getting underway from 6pm.
