Tierney has only started five Premier League games this season, but Arsenal is keen for him to stay as they prepare for Champions League football next season. Villa has entered the race for his signature, with Unai Emery interested in reuniting with the player he brought to the Emirates. The club’s wealthy owners plan to back their manager heavily in the summer, and the left-back position could do with an upgrade as Ashley Young turns 38 in the summer and Lucas Digne is not in favour.
