Trent Alexander-Arnold on Man City Title Race vs Arsenal

Date:

Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold believes Manchester City will win all of their remaining league games and will be surprised if they drop any more points in their battle with Arsenal for the Premier League title. City have won nine league games in a row to leapfrog long-term leaders Arsenal and sit one point ahead of them with a game in hand and a superior goal difference. Alexander-Arnold sympathises with Arsenal who have been competing with a ‘juggernaut’ this season, as they sensed an opportunity to win the Premier League for the first time since 2004 but struggled in April to forfeit their lead over Man City.

The Reds are some way off the title rivals, but Alexander-Arnold will still hope to help them qualify for next season’s Champions League, with Jurgen Klopp’s side fifth with four games remaining. Manchester City return to action on Saturday against Sam Allardyce’s Leeds United, while Arsenal face Newcastle United later in the weekend.
