Transfer news LIVE: Man City ramp up Bukayo Saka interest, Bayern Munich prepare second bid for Liverpool star Sadio Mane, Manchester United ‘increasingly confident’ of Frenkie de Jong deal

The 2021/22 Premier League season is over and attention is now on the upcoming transfer window.

Champions Manchester City wrapped up a deal for Erling Haaland prior to capturing their fourth title in five years, with the striker set to complete his stunning move in the coming days.

It’s a bit more uncertain at rivals Liverpool with Sadio Mane reportedly close to leaving, while Mohamed Salah has just one year left on his current deal. Darwin Nunez has been identified by the Reds as a potential replacement for Mane even though they have rejected Bayern Munich’s opening bid.

Elsewhere, the Erik ten Hag era is officially underway at Manchester United, and Christian Eriksen could be the Dutchman’s first signing.

Tottenham have already done business, landing experienced Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic on a free while Spurs’ owners have made £150m available to Antonio Conte to strengthen his side with Djed Spence reportedly on their radar.

Meanwhile, Arsenal have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of Gabriel Jesus as Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid have joined the race for the striker.

And the likes of Newcastle, Everton, West Ham and Aston Villa are expected to be busy in the off-season too.
