Former Arsenal and Liverpool winger Jermaine Pennant has claimed that Tottenham Hotspur must remove chairman Daniel Levy if they want to improve their performance. Pennant believes that Levy is the “root source” of the club’s issues and that even top managers such as Pep Guardiola or Jurgen Klopp would struggle under his leadership. Tottenham sacked interim manager Cristian Stellini on Monday after a 6-1 defeat to Newcastle United. The club is now in danger of finishing outside the top four after back-to-back losses. Former Bayern Munich boss Julian Nagelsmann is reportedly a potential candidate to take over as manager.
