Tottenham Hotspur has sacked Cristian Stellini from his position as interim boss, with Ryan Mason taking over until the end of the season. Stellini had a record of two defeats, a win, and a draw as acting head coach of Spurs, with the 6-1 loss to Newcastle being the final straw. He was given the position after Antonio Conte’s sacking on March 26, having previously worked as an assistant under his predecessor. Chairman Daniel Levy released a statement saying that Stellini and his coaching staff would leave their current role, and thanked them for their professional conduct during a challenging time. Mason, who previously managed Spurs on an interim basis in 2021, is set to take the reins again. Tottenham is still seeking a permanent replacement for Conte and is reportedly considering former Bayern Munich boss Julian Nagelsmann.
