Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in signing Kyogo Furuhashi from Celtic, as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season. The striker won the Golden Boot in Scotland last season, scoring 27 goals in 36 league games and helping Celtic to win all three trophies. Spurs are said to be willing to pay up to £30million for the 28-year-old, who is also attracting interest from other English clubs.
The potential arrival of Furuhashi could be linked to Tottenham’s pursuit of Australian manager Ange Postecoglou, who led Celtic to a historic treble last season. Spurs are reportedly keen on bringing in Postecoglou as a replacement for former boss Antonio Conte.
However, Tottenham’s star striker Harry Kane remains a key part of their plans for the upcoming season, despite interest from Real Madrid. The Spanish giants are reportedly keen on signing Kane as they look to replace club legend Karim Benzema, who is leaving the club this week. Carlo Ancelotti is said to be a known admirer of Kane, but the England captain remains determined to break Alan Shearer’s Premier League scoring record.
